Speaker 1:

This is Latina's State of Mind, a podcast created by Latinas for all audiences, where we can share our experiences about love, life and everything. Hello, hello and welcome to another episode of Latina's State of Mind. We're talking about a scary topic again. To end the month right. To end the best month, right. Okay, the second best month, Third fourth we're going to talk about possessions. Why, spooky, do you guys believe in them?

Speaker 3:

Not really Really. I can't say for sure no, but I can't say for sure yes.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I feel like that's where I'm at too, but I feel like if there is good in the world, there has to be bad or evil as well. So I'm leaning towards. Yes, I feel like there has to be something.

Speaker 3:

You bring up a good point because there's like there's a balance and it's a good and a bad balance.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what about you?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think they totally do Like I, so believe that they do exist.

Speaker 3:

I think it's different than what the movies, my display, but I think that there's definitely, definitely, there's definitely a difference in the portrayal in Hollywood or whatever, yeah, from the reality.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, wow.

Speaker 1:

But let's talk about one of the most like infamous possession stories there are out there. Diana's going to lead us in and tell us a little bit about it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so this story is going to be about Roland Doe. It's based on a true story. The exorcist through story is based on the experience of Roland Doe, as mentioned in March 1949. Newspapers reported that a 14 year old boy known as Robbie or Roland Doe was possessed by something sinister and that the exorcist priests performed an exorcism on him. The boy was raised in a German Lutheran family and he was no stranger to paranormal things in life. After asking for a Ouija board for his birthday, his aunt Harriet gifted him one. After she passed away, the boy began to experience creepy and abnormal things around the house Rattling on the wall, strange noises and flying objects. The exorcist recreates many of these events in hidden details.

Speaker 3:

Since the exorcist is based on a true story, many of the events that Roland and his family experienced end up in the film. After the death of his aunt, roland's family tried to contact her, but this led to scratches all over Roland's body and bed. Neither moving nor an impromptu Catholic baptism sent Roland into an unbridled rage. Change their situation. Roland's family contacted every expert, all leading to a dead end, including a stint with a psychiatrist. After getting no answers, the family finally received the help from Father Raymond J Bishop, and multiple exorcisms were performed in the real exorcist.

Speaker 2:

Roland's family also received a red flag the red flag was the first to receive a Weegee board.

Speaker 1:

I think it's fun. Do you have one?

Speaker 3:

No, my mom would never allow it.

Speaker 2:

I think that's where it all started.

Speaker 3:

It sounds like there was already interest in there Before the Weegee board. There was an interest.

Speaker 1:

I think the interesting to me is like, like you were saying, nancy, we manifest to good, we pray to good, we, you know, like you want to communicate with good spirits or angels, or like whatever you see as good. Whatever you portray, portray us good. But like I think, when you're messing with something like the Weegee board, you can get anything like yeah, there's no, I don't know. Like you can't pick and choose, hey, I'm only going to talk to a good spirit.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know, like you're opening a gate, you're opening a gate to something that might be good or might be bad, and I don't think people should risk it.

Speaker 3:

I would never risk it. I don't think so no despite me not fully believing, I don't think I would be willing to risk it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah it's. I think it's so scary. I wouldn't want to risk it either.

Speaker 1:

And there's so many stories about possessions Like I feel like this, this story of Roland right, it's like one of the most famous because there was a movie made after him, but there are so many stories about things like this happening to people that I think that's freaking, terrifying. More stories like Annabelle, like a doll being possessed, like what.

Speaker 2:

How Right I was going to say for the human. I wonder how much of that is related to mental health. But then you bring up a doll. And that makes it a little harder to explain.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like exactly Like Roland, allegedly spoken Latin, urinated, vomited spit and spoken a deep, unfamiliar voice. So how much can you really? I'm getting chills. How much can you really kind of put that on mental health?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think the Latin part, like I'm sure that there's mental health problems that could lead you to having certain physical things happening to your body, but I don't think there was Latin in his family or that he that he would have learned. It seems like he just really knew Latin.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if I remember correctly, but there might be some sort of brain Um no, like if you're damaged in a certain part of your brain, that it may cause something like that, because I think I remember reading about it when I was in school that somebody spoke French, and they didn't really speak French after an injury.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I remember about that. So I don't know if that could be a possibility.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I think Okay, but oh okay, yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 3:

So what happened in the story? You want to hear about it? Yeah, there's been many. There's been much mystery surrounding Roland. Despite that, the fact that the exorcist is based on a true story. Um 75 years later, experts believe that the real exorcist victim, roland, a former NASA engineer who helped the 1969 moon landing Wow. He died of a stroke just a month shy of his 86th birthday in 2020. Wow, he passed away in his home in Maryland after the series of exorcisms that Roland went through as a child. He actually had an incredibly successful career as an adult working for NASA.

Speaker 1:

That's awesome. I'm really glad to hear that Right.

Speaker 3:

Do you think that event, despite being very traumatizing, helped?

Speaker 1:

That's hard to say, could it?

Speaker 3:

make up individual stronger. Definitely Right. I don't have an individual supernatural not supernatural, but like above average intelligence. I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I wouldn't go that far.

Speaker 3:

Cause like what if the whatever was in their state in there?

Speaker 1:

I'm so creepy oh.

Speaker 2:

You know, I wonder how he felt about the movie and having his life portray like that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that would be weird.

Speaker 1:

That would be a good life. Excuse me, roland, I'm freaking out over here. I don't like it Pulls out a witty board. No, this is where the podcast episode ends Bye.

Speaker 3:

No, stop it. Why? Yes, I'm sorry, I'm just kidding, you're not funny. Do you think that's funny?

Speaker 1:

No, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm so hilarious. Do you think that objects can get possessed?

Speaker 2:

That I don't really believe. Yeah, but what about Annabelle? I don't really know much about Annabelle other than what I've seen in the movie, but it's just a movie to me.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but it was based on a true story. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But who wrote it?

Speaker 3:

There's an actual doll doll.

Speaker 2:

Do I have videos and pictures and?

Speaker 3:

you want me to look it up?

Speaker 2:

I'll show you. I don't know. That's a little harder for me to believe.

Speaker 3:

I mean just overall, believing that an individual, like a living, reasoning individual, can be possessed. Imagine a doll or an object.

Speaker 2:

An object. Yeah, that's hard. You guys believe in it.

Speaker 1:

I do. I feel like there's so much energy and maybe it's not possessed by like a demon or stuff like that, but I think that we have so many leftover energy that we pass on to objects that we love. So I do believe that.

Speaker 3:

I mean that's a possibility, because I heard this other story about I can't remember the name of this type of box, but it's a box where I believe it's the Jewish type box. No, don't quote me on that, but this box belonged to an older lady who had been playing with the occult and they attracted a demon and the demon wanted out the demon. They were contacting back and forth but these two girls and one of them was the older individual that had the box but these two girls contacted them and they were like, okay, we'll let you out. I don't know who would actually do that, because that's dumb as fuck.

Speaker 1:

But they let them out.

Speaker 3:

They let the demon out, but they were able to trap them, to trap it in a box, in this box that I was telling you about, and this box had been passed along for generations. And then this older individual had it. They eventually sold it in a state sale and someone thought it was a cool box, but they tried to open it and then they started experiencing paranormal things. Ah, and then, okay, they brought it back to the person and then it got sold again and it's been passed along like that until eventually some thrift owners were like, okay, we're gonna keep it. And or they sold it to an individual who takes care of these kinds of items, because everything, a lot of things happen to the owners of that. So what I'm thinking is what if that thing inside the box whether real or not, or believe it or not, what if it was one of, like a family members, soul, presence, demonic, whatever?

Speaker 1:

That turned evil.

Speaker 3:

That turned evil, because I mean I would do it. But what if they were unhappy being passed from like one hand to the other?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, of course. I mean I would be upset too, Can I?

Speaker 2:

ask you something when would you wanna be? Would you wanna be in a box like? That or what do you think?

Speaker 1:

A piece of jewelry like that.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Girl, anyone who wears it gets like bad, like really bad superpowers, so they can do more evil.

Speaker 1:

Okay, no, that's terrible.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 1:

You asked. This is how I feel.

Speaker 3:

But anyways, my point was that I was trying to make is like what if it's just like a regular I don't wanna say regular, actually it's some type of entity that just feels angry, being passed along from one hand to the other and decides to react negatively.

Speaker 2:

I believe it so we're defending the evil spirit, no, so what we're doing in this podcast?

Speaker 1:

I mean, we did something like that in our last episode.

Speaker 2:

Exactly the other. Now I feel like that was different.

Speaker 1:

How Okay, but.

Speaker 3:

I agree, it's not their fault, it's just kidding.

Speaker 1:

I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3:

Okay, but what object would you be? What would you? What kind of object would you possess?

Speaker 2:

It would be super cool if I was a book and then whoever? Reads it, reads it, then gets possessed. It would like flip to certain pages.

Speaker 1:

But if you possess somebody, it would be like the sweetest possession ever, because you're so naive.

Speaker 2:

I would just be like you're welcome for that.

Speaker 1:

And so smart.

Speaker 3:

You would teach them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, she would just be teaching them everything, correcting them. Correcting them, that's not how you say that word, that's like textbooks and stuff like that, playing Chalino, there's randomly being like playing Chalino and drinking at the gut. Oh my gosh, yes Goals, I like your possession.

Speaker 3:

I like your possession. The thing mine is to do evil.

Speaker 1:

Hers is to do impart knowledge To impart knowledge in you, sonia, my, if I possess somebody, they would just be crying the entire time because I cry about everything.

Speaker 2:

I mean like crying Satisfy my brain.

Speaker 1:

Like it was just crying of joy.

Speaker 3:

Let's say, let's say have the ability to feel emotions.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly, Not just crying to like all the emotions To be extreme.

Speaker 3:

Well, that is possession, so let's find it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I would possess earrings, earrings or like perfume, because I love perfume.

Speaker 3:

Actually, perfume is meant to like protect you, is it?

Speaker 1:

That's probably why I've been safe so far. Interesting Anyways, do you guys want to hear a creepy story?

Speaker 2:

Please.

Speaker 3:

Tell us. I know I'm feeling like uneasy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, same. Okay, you're gonna feel a little more uneasy because this actually happened to my mom.

Speaker 3:

Let's go for it.

Speaker 1:

So back in the day, when she was like I think she said she was like mid-20s she used to live in this like rancho, like of the village type of thing, but then she moved to the city. But then she had a friend that she was really close to and I think they used to write letters to each other. And then one day my mom decided she was gonna go visit her friend. But in Mexico, where they're from, like they don't really have like they didn't ever have a bed. They had like these things that they would lay on the floor and like sleep on the floor.

Speaker 1:

And like my mom was just so happy to see her friend and she was so excited to be there. She said they hung out and talked and had a great time. And when they were going to bed her friend said whatever you hear, don't get up. And then my mom was like what? She was? Like you're gonna hear things tonight because my uncle's here, but whatever you hear, don't get up. So I think my mom she was assuming like other kind of noises, like just maybe like something that it wasn't appropriate or she just wasn't thinking of the noises, she was gonna.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like so she said that they fell asleep and it was like one or two o'clock in the morning and she felt like just wind coming, but it was like the middle of summer and it's not very windy over there, so she thought it was really weird. But she was told to not get up. So she just covered herself with the covers and just kind of rolled over and went back to sleep. And then later on she said she could hear plates falling and breaking. And then she said she was scared and she said her friend was like up and she kept holding my mom and the friend kept telling her, whatever you do, don't wake up. Like just don't get up, don't get up, just everything's gonna go by. Like just don't get up. And she heard she could hear like books, like shuffling.

Speaker 1:

Like shuffling, like pages flipping, but to like wind. And she said she was just so confused where that wind was coming from and why those plates were breaking. And she could hear like a man praying. And she could hear a man being, like, just leave me alone, like, please stop. Like I don't wanna do this, please stop. And so she said that it was like out of a movie.

Speaker 1:

Like she says that she had never experienced something like that and my mom has a little bit of a connection to those things. Like she sees people, she knows things, but she had never experienced anything like that. So she said they woke up in the morning and the house was a mess and the book that they'd, that she'd heard, was a Bible. And so she was like I'm not staying here another night, like what the heck? And so she asked her friend what was happening, and this is a story her friend told her.

Speaker 1:

She said that her uncle had tried to make a deal with the devil for the life of his sister. His sister was really sick and she lived in the US, but he couldn't come visit, and so he just was so desperate and so much grief that he went by the river and, instead of praying to God. He prayed to the devil and asked to bring his sister back, but when he was praying his sister was already dead. So he says that later on he was by the river just crying about his sister and a black dog came over and stood next to him and he heard the dog talking to him.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1:

And he freaked out and laughed. And then he was by the river again and he heard a voice saying I couldn't make a deal then, but I'm ready to make a deal now. And so this entity that he was calling for was trying to make deals with him and kept harassing him about the deals. And my mom left the same day and she never came back to visit her friend, Like they would visit each other, but her friend would go to my mom's house.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure what happened to the gentleman. I don't think she's sure either. I don't think she ever asked her friend because she was too scared.

Speaker 2:

This is so creepy.

Speaker 1:

It's very creepy, but I think out of all the stories my mom's ever told me that was one of the scariest, because she's like I'm not lying to you. She's like there was wind, there was like all these noises, and she's like it was terrifying and I'm like I would have laughed. But if she was told not to leave, that's what she said, but yeah.

Speaker 2:

I wonder if they had to deal with this every night.

Speaker 1:

Imagine every night, oh my gosh.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that demon wanted the soul.

Speaker 1:

That's what he offered.

Speaker 2:

But the sister was already dead, so there was no deal.

Speaker 1:

There was no deal but he was trying to make a deal for anything else he wanted, like he offered her, like he offered him a young wife, like whatever he wanted he would give for his soul.

Speaker 2:

It's crazy and if you think about it, well, if I think about it, if I was desperate and, like one of my sisters, was going through something, I would do it. I would do it too.

Speaker 1:

Really Mm-hmm. Oh yeah, girl, I tried to Google how to bring my dad back from the dead when he died. Like at that point I was ready for anything.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I can understand how you would go to those lengths Exactly, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know what? I shouldn't say anything Right now, in this moment. I say no, you never know. Once you're in that, situation.

Speaker 1:

Please don't do that, don't gamble your soul with anything.

Speaker 3:

We do not recommend it, we do not advise. We do not advise. This is our disclosure.

Speaker 1:

It's not advice. Please live your happy life, okay, but what's crazy.

Speaker 3:

So the thing that I want to go back to is that the river. Going back to the river.

Speaker 1:

That body of water.

Speaker 2:

We talked about that before. Yeah, the body of water. Listen to our previous podcast episode.

Speaker 3:

No, really to find a little more connection. But like a body of water, because it carries so much energy, it was able to pass along that message. Yeah, that's the I'm just. Chills right now are like all over my body, I know. But, just having that connection just brought me over just a little bit more Cause. I'm like, oh my gosh, please be careful about bodies of water.

Speaker 2:

Never want to be near one ever again. Well, I do.

Speaker 1:

Water is beautiful.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, let's go to Hawaii.

Speaker 1:

Everything changes in Hawaii.

Speaker 2:

Okay, In Hawaii it's only the good spirit. Hawaii is a question no it doesn't go that way.

Speaker 3:

You won't even remember what you're doing. She's going to be like viving, viving, but that was very creepy.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3:

Wait, and you, okay, cause for this. Once you weren't, once you hadn't finished the story. I thought the house was going to be like normal but not in disarray and like there was a mess there was like physical evidence of a mess.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and the person she was hearing was the uncle the uncle praying like flipping through pages of the Bible too.

Speaker 3:

Oh, it was him. Yeah, I thought it was the, the entity, the thing, whatever.

Speaker 1:

Well, the entity probably, was probably there in the house trying to convince him and like reacting to the Bible and all of that was yeah.

Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, I don't know. They take off the shoes, no.

Speaker 1:

Every time she tells me that story I'm like ha, ha ha.

Speaker 2:

I can, yeah, I can. What would you guys have done If you were?

Speaker 1:

But the thing is like I always say I would have left, but how do you move out of that bed?

Speaker 2:

or that place, especially if somebody already told you don't get up, you trust them. They are alive.

Speaker 1:

So they must know how to survive. But then I think curiosity probably would have caught the best of me and I would have been like that me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I would have.

Speaker 1:

I know Geron would have caught up and like what's going on.

Speaker 3:

First of all, that friend maybe it's not a great friend for doing that.

Speaker 1:

For inviting her over to a haunted, but I would imagine how much time this has been going and how like. And how lonely you are at that point and how do you tell people like?

Speaker 2:

Only your best friends. Yeah, because you're probably like they're not going to believe me that this is happening Like.

Speaker 1:

let me show them.

Speaker 2:

Probably she's like somebody needs to know. Yeah, maybe they just she just needed to share that experience with somebody else.

Speaker 3:

That's a very good point. Someone like maybe like even reassurance for her that she's not going crazy. That's exactly.

Speaker 2:

Oh man. I would have taken some melatonin, some holy water.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm not going to buy my, you know what?

Speaker 3:

Man, I would have been playing like Patty kicks with demon.

Speaker 1:

You would have. You don't like? I mean, can you do a mouse? What's up? I'm just getting right back to you.

Speaker 3:

Oh, stop, because me too, so some feet Fly around for a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Okay, anyway, you're just scaring me.

Speaker 3:

What? Yeah, yeah, don't, don't kill me. I'm going to. This is a message to people Do not kill me, because I will come back, or like do harm me or whatever, because I will come back. Yeah, I will come back and haunt you Whenever you feel you're piercing.

Speaker 1:

Yes, hey, yeah, it's me. Just know that I will find every ounce of dark energy that I can find in this universe.

Speaker 2:

And I will laugh right now.

Speaker 1:

And I will come for you. Yes, I like it. You know what I like it? Because if you couldn't do it in life, you could do it in death.

Speaker 3:

Like I'm going to Exactly, yeah, exactly so Event your own death.

Speaker 1:

I like it.

Speaker 3:

I do the same thing, girl. I'm right there, like you. Yes, thank you. Thank you for understanding. I'm out.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to be right behind you.

Speaker 3:

This is great.

Speaker 2:

Have a lovely night.

Speaker 3:

If you feel your feet pulled, it's me.

Speaker 2:

But what? What have I done to you?

Speaker 3:

Nothing but being nice, it's just a warning Don't do it. Okay, because it will be me All right, I'm going to be a knowing entity. I can see it.

Speaker 2:

I can see it.

Speaker 1:

She's just going to be tickling you. I'm like I'll fuck Diana again I'm like I'll fuck Diana again. I'm like I'll fuck Diana again. I'm like I'll fuck Diana again. Diana again, diana again.

Speaker 3:

I'm like I'll fuck Diana again. I'm watching you, Diana. I'm going to be the way. All right, I'll go take a break Let me go to Senya's house.

Speaker 1:

No, senya will cry Stop, I'm already scared, hold on.

Speaker 3:

This is going to be great. I'm going to be the way.

Speaker 1:

That's her favorite. That's her favorite voice.

Speaker 3:

We don't have any more listeners.

Speaker 2:

We went to get holy water.

Speaker 1:

And this is the last episode we ever did. Because of it, people were like nah, you know what?

Speaker 3:

If you guys don't listen, I'm also I'm going to confine you. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding, you're going to play episodes at night.

Speaker 1:

The Latina state of mind podcast at night we're going to. You know what? You know what it's not about AD Plugger. You know what?

Speaker 3:

I'm haunting in my own way. I'm starting, I'm starting.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, we started.

Speaker 3:

We started so good.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then we needed a little bit of. That was actually really like starting to get really scared, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Because that once the true story.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's so creepy.

Speaker 3:

And then all the true stories that we've covered so far, actually.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, have you ever felt anything like that?

Speaker 2:

No, and I don't want to think about it.

Speaker 1:

I've never played with it, no.

Speaker 2:

Because, like I said, I'm leaning more towards it does exist. I would not risk it.

Speaker 3:

You're more careful, I'm very careful. Okay, because it's scary.

Speaker 1:

It is scary.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. Offer my soul to someone, for one of my sisters, for example.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

To make sure they're okay.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 1:

What do I get in return?

Speaker 3:

Do I get to keep both brothers one brother?

Speaker 1:

money as well, because if money's not involved, I don't know if this will work out. I mean, can I make a deal and be like five deals and one? I know yeah.

Speaker 3:

I know. So then I don't think it's gonna come true for me. I don't think my, my dark wishes are gonna come true, cuz I'd be like I want more.

Speaker 1:

Okay, hold on. Can you come back?

Speaker 3:

And the dark did I say this dark super powers already anyway is just double checking and give you nothing.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a great deal and that's when they would walk away. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3:

But maybe that's the strategy all along.

Speaker 1:

I don't think.

Speaker 3:

I could know the theme is. I'm a firm believer that when you mess with dark energies and nothing good ever comes of it.

Speaker 1:

So I feel like, even if you negotiate somebody's life for your soul, I don't know that that's a good, that's a good it wouldn't be upheld. Yeah, I'm just saying if, if I was desperate, I would be like, oh, I'm gonna go back to the dark energy.

Speaker 2:

I'm just saying if I was desperate and I felt like that was my only choice or my last option to do something you would lose your souls and your sister.

Speaker 3:

You think a day and a hold the contract. I believe in the goodness of the dead or the life of the Supreme Court? Of what?

Speaker 1:

You know what you do. You have an ally there.

Speaker 3:

You do actually. These are good tears.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, how did we go from possession to this?

Speaker 3:

It's supposed to be all spooky episode.

Speaker 1:

It is pretty spooky. I'm scared.

Speaker 3:

Having all these conversations about dark entities, possessions that deals with whomever. No deals, no deals.

Speaker 1:

First of all, you guys suck at making deals. I don't think it's gonna happen for you, for either of you. The negotiation part right now is going to be like no, thank you.

Speaker 3:

I don't want it. I was one of the best negotiators in my negotiations class at CSU.

Speaker 2:

I mean I do believe that, yeah, I can see that.

Speaker 1:

You can make a deal.

Speaker 3:

I think I could.

Speaker 2:

I would call you. Thank you To help me out.

Speaker 3:

Here I am bitch. What's your role?

Speaker 2:

Nevermind, I'm never gonna call you. That's a good advantage of you.

Speaker 3:

My client would like to keep her soul. I'm her soul-over-sister. Thank you, did you get?

Speaker 1:

enough food. He's close. You get a high five. Bye, bye, have a good night. See ya Never.

Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, anyways.

Speaker 1:

Anyways, oh man, what's the next part of this podcast? What is it?

Speaker 3:

You're kidding, right? It's been so long.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's been so long. I think we just close it and go yeah, let's go, let's have this. Maybe we can do some of that. Diana's Daily Shade.

Speaker 3:

Let's lighten it up, yeah, whatever.

Speaker 1:

What are you mad about today?

Speaker 3:

Okay, so I recently went to a concert.

Speaker 1:

Herrard Ortiz. I watched this concert.

Speaker 3:

I was not in the dancing area for his part of it. I was enjoying it.

Speaker 2:

I'm enjoying him.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Hits.

Speaker 3:

he's pretty cute 10 out of 10. Yeah, 9 out of 10.

Speaker 1:

Let's do it 9 and a half. Okay, we'll come back to that, okay.

Speaker 3:

Anyway. So my friend and I went to go get a drink. We came back, we kind of stood by the more dancing area and we were just having a fun time, Her and I enjoying our time. It wasn't meant to be like we weren't trying to look for someone, something, anything, nothing.

Speaker 1:

We were just there for the concert.

Speaker 3:

We were just there for the concert, having fun, that's it. Well, of course, obviously, we get invited out to dance.

Speaker 1:

Of course.

Speaker 3:

But like we weren't feeling it. We weren't feeling it Cause whatever they send, that Anyways. But these individuals, these men would get mad. They would get mad at us when we said no, and to me that's really fucking stupid, because I'm like, if I say no, just move on. Move on to the next individual. You don't have to give me a dirty look, you don't have to like. Call your names they don't have to call me names. No one to call me names, cause that would have been, people have.

Speaker 2:

I know people who have. Oh shit, no one would have been called names.

Speaker 3:

Oh, can you tell us more about them? I've never been called names.

Speaker 1:

I think we need to talk about the culture of events like this. I feel like for a lot of these events people go to dance, like it's a lot of regional Mexican music, and so people go to concerts. Some people go to listen and some people go to dance, and most people go to dance. I should say some of us just go for the music and the concert part. But I used to work for my dad and he was a promoter for Mexican bands and so he would always send me up around the stage to kind of check that the bands looked okay, that the boys didn't need water or something like that, and every time I would walk by it didn't ever feel that somebody would ask me to dance. And I mean, first of all, I'm working and second of all, I don't know how to dance to this music. Very well.

Speaker 1:

And I'm gonna say yes. And a few times there were guys that were like oh que apretada. I don't know how do you even say that in English. Uptight yeah like so uptight, or like this guy called me fat and I was like platuya.

Speaker 1:

Then I was like, well, if I'm fat and apretada, why are you asking me to dance? Like, move on. And my dad would just be like I'm not gonna dance, I'm like I don't know how to dance, dad. And I'm like I don't know how to dance. It's not my style, it's not my music and I'm here to work, I'm not here to dance. And they shouldn't get offended because you don't want to dance.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, it's no.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you just bruise their little egos.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think that's what it is.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, I mean it's. I think it's just understanding that no means no In any context. If someone says no, that's the end of it.

Speaker 1:

Like you know what I mean.

Speaker 3:

Because getting mad and getting like worked up is gonna make me not dance with you even more yeah. You know like that reaction just showed me that you're a piece of shit.

Speaker 2:

I mean you made the right choice by saying no, Exactly.

Speaker 3:

And like stop touching me and stop like asking me and stop if I say no is no. But yeah, I don't think men should go, I don't think men should get mad.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Just move on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because there are a bunch of girls who are there to dance. They want to dance yeah. So yeah, try the next one.

Speaker 3:

Go ask every other girl and it has nothing to do with the way you look.

Speaker 1:

It has nothing to do with who you are as a person. Like or does it, at least for me I'm always like I just don't want to dance. Like I don't, I don't like it. So I'm never like no, you're not my type. Like it's just dancing.

Speaker 3:

Well we don't all feel the same way. I care about certain specifics.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think it's important, but it's not a big deal.

Speaker 2:

But the thing is that it doesn't matter if it is because you don't think they're attractive. If you say no, it's no. If it is because you don't know how to dance, if you say no, it's still no. Like it doesn't matter what your reason is for saying no.

Speaker 3:

I shouldn't have to explain myself Exactly. It doesn't really matter.

Speaker 2:

Like, just like Diana said just move on, go find another girl.

Speaker 3:

I promise you she wants to dance. I don't want my fucking bitch.

Speaker 2:

It's the end, I'm saying no for you.

Speaker 1:

I'm doing this because of you.

Speaker 3:

I'm thinking of you, I'm thinking of the other individual. I am just that much of a caring person. I love it.

Speaker 1:

We had an experience and I'll never forget.

Speaker 1:

I think this is my worst experience I've ever had with going out with you and a guy being a jerk to you With me yeah, we went out for New Year's and she was wearing this hot ass dress Like she looked fire, and of course people wanted to dance with her. But you were with your partner and I remember this guy just like, not like quitting, and I remember you being like no dude, I'm with my partner, I don't want to dance with you. And he was like you don't know what I can do for you, blah, blah, blah. And then he just took it to a whole other level and I was just so upset because she had to say no like four or five times for him to finally stop and it was so disrespectful and I was just so, like I just was so annoyed and it was just like dude, she said no, already she's with her partner.

Speaker 1:

Like you wouldn't do that if she was with a boy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it definitely adds another layer. I feel like a lot of guys take it as a challenge.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, First of all, like you were talking all this shit but you're not going to be able to back it up.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 3:

I'm so sure, because a person that's going to talk all this shit yeah, it has a little pee pee and it can't even use what he has.

Speaker 2:

You know what? I was just not interested and I did not want to find out. No, like just yeah no, no means no.

Speaker 1:

Don't be offended.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if these, if you're listening to this, I love you.

Speaker 1:

And I would totally dance with you.

Speaker 3:

That's so funny.

Speaker 1:

What do you want to end your DDS with?

Speaker 3:

No, means no.

Speaker 1:

I like it, no means no.

Speaker 3:

I don't have to give an excuse.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Period Period Period.

Speaker 3:

And once again I don't know what to think.

Speaker 2:

Dude. I used to be obsessed with him too Like in love. Well, you know, life, life.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, life happens.

Speaker 2:

And then I keep it. He's cute.

Speaker 1:

He's cute.

Speaker 2:

He is very cute. Yeah, is he short?

Speaker 3:

He's like 5, 8. This 9. And I mean that's perfectly fine, because I'm short.

Speaker 2:

Or.

Speaker 1:

Short or it's cool, it's tight, it's fine it's tight and like a couple of meals.

Speaker 3:

Okay, now we're going to really get.

Speaker 1:

Okay, anyway, let's go back to the sessions.

Speaker 3:

Oh, even better, Wow. Closing thoughts. Don't play with the Ouija board, yeah, don't play with something that might Hurt you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and others, and others.

Speaker 2:

Because I mean others will be affected.

Speaker 3:

But yes, even if you don't believe Don't. Just don't play with it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, just don't mess with it To be safe, because I mean, if it, if it is real, you're opening a gate, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And you have no control over the gate once it's open. Yeah, and you have no control over the gate once it's open and or who's coming through that?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and don't upset Diana, because that is just going to come on, be careful.

Speaker 1:

Moral of the story.

Speaker 2:

Be, careful around her. Be nice Respectful. Be nice Respectful.

Speaker 3:

Be true self, but like be careful with that true self, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Don't be a true, don't be too true.

Speaker 3:

But like don't be fake either. Okay, Fucking impossible I will catch on to it.

Speaker 1:

It just can't please you.

Speaker 3:

You can just not yeah.

Speaker 1:

Anyways.

Speaker 3:

Anyway, you guys do a pretty good job at it, though, so you guys are safe.
